CUT LENGTH
Measure proper length and cut the tubing using a tube cutter.
Cut through the plastic jacket,leaving sufficient tubing length for fitting attachment.

STRIP JACKET
Using a utility knife or cable stripper, strip the PE
coating approximately six convolutions to allow assembly of fittings. |

INSTALL FITTING NUT, RING AND SPLIT RING
Measure proper length and cut the tubing using
a tube cutter.
Cut through the plastic jacket, leaving sufficient
tubing length for fitting attachment.

ASSEMBLY
Tighten nut and body until the resistance to
wrenching increases greatly.
Self-Flare Fittings are designed to form a leak tight seat on the stainless steel tubing as you tighten the fitting. |
